Working with charities
At Marine Super Store, we are aware of the major difference charities make. For this reason, our list of supported charities is growing. We aim to make a difference by supporting charities that not only help people, but also help the environment. Our list of supported charities include:
Royal National Lifeboat Institution – RNLI
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Powered primarily by kind donations, their search and rescue service has been saving lives for nearly 200 years.
The RNLI are a charity founded upon and driven by their values of selflessness, courage, dependability and trustworthiness, with volunteers at the heart of the charity. Values shared by generations of supporters who have powered, lifesaving work through your kindness and generosity for almost 200 years.
Volunteers make up 95% of the RNLI – ordinary people doing extraordinary things – supported by expert staff, all working together to help communities at home and abroad save lives.
Cancer Research UK is the world’s largest independent cancer research organization. It is registered as a charity in the United Kingdom and Isle of Man.
Cancer is relentless. But so are cancer research UK. Whether you fundraise, pledge to leave a gift in your will or donate. Every part supports life-saving research. Play your part and together we and cancer research UK will beat cancer.
The Andrew Simpson foundation believes that all young people have the ability to excel and succeed in life and work. The challenges of sailing and water-sports aid this by promoting health and well-being while building essential personal skills.
Thousands of young people are given life changing opportunities on the water by delivering a range of charitable activities such as community sailing programmes, volunteer training and grants.
Andrew Simpson Foundation is the perfect charity to support our belief that every child deserves the opportunity to enjoy sailing.
Our seas are under immense pressure: too many fish are being taken out, too much rubbish is being thrown in and too little is being done to protect our precious wildlife.
As the UK’s leading charity for the protection of our seas, shores and wildlife, The Marine Conservation Society have scientists, campaigners, volunteers and researchers who are all passionate about creating a sustainable future for our seas. MCS is the voice for those who enjoy the fascinating sea, as well as for the creatures that live beneath the waves.
