HRDI Charge Controller For Rutland Windchargers

HRD Charge Controller incorporates Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology to regulate battery voltage preventing overcharge in the same way as the HRS type regulators with additional features for battery management, monitoring and ease of installation. This generation of voltage regulation saw the end of the need for bulky heat sinks to dissipate excess energy generated by wind turbines and, more importantly for the lifetime of the windcharger, introduced speed limiting to the turbine when the battery is full.
