AquaMarine Cutting Compound is a highly effective, user friendly medium duty cutting compound which will leave a professional shine on the surface of your GRP gelcoat or painted surface. Recommended to use with a polishing machine to gain the best results, Aqua Marine Cutting Compound is used by professionals throughout the industry, with the benefit of being simple to use by the DIY boat owner.

Instructions for use with a polishing machine (max 1800?pm).
Clean and dry the surface to be compounded. Start with a damp heavy duty or medium foam polishing head.
Apply a small amount of compound to the foam head labout the size of 10p piece).
To reduce splattering, spread the compound over the surface using the foam head, prior to starting the machine.
Begin compounding, using a machine not exceeding 1800rpm. Start with the polishing head at a slight angle and finish with it held flat to the surface.
Keep the polishing head damp by mist spraying lightly with clean water and applying small amounts of compound as needed.
Repeat procedure until all marks/fading have been removed.
To finish, change compounding head for a soft polishing head. Leave compounding residue on paint or gelcoat surface, mist spray with clean water and genty run over the surface with polishing head, held flat to the surface until a satisfactory gloss has been achieved.
For a final finish, buff gently with a soft cloth.
Protect finished surface with Aqua Marine Polish & Wax.
