The core of this base layer is made from, ZQ certified, 100% merino wool, much finer than traditional sheep’s wool, so it feels softer against the skin. The natural benefits of wool are hard to match, Merino wool offers impressive warmth and moisture wicking capabilities. Sweat is wicked away so effectively, bacteria doesn’t have a chance to build up and create bad smells, which is to everyone’s benefit on a boat.

Our experienced skippers demand Merino base layers but have seen them wear out quickly during thousands of tough miles at sea. To combat this, we have layered 4-way stretch, durable Cordura® fabric onto the elbows. The highest wear area on base layer tops.
