PBO’s Sailing Around the UK & Ireland

The book will be highly practical as well as narrative, enabling anyone reading it to follow in the author’s footsteps (from any starting point in the UK). A unique selling point is that the author is in his 60s, sailed around the UK solo and did it all in day sails (so no intrepid overnight stuff) the obvious message is, if he can do it so can I. He will explain his detailed passage planning for each (day) leg, boat preparations, detailed navigation (to cope with tricky headlands, tidal overfalls, rocky areas etc), practical navigational tips and will feature detailed route maps and of course his spectacular photos.
