AquaMarine Teak Care System (2x 1L bottles)

The AquaMarine Teak Care System will remove any staining or dirt from the surface and below the surface of your onboard teak surfaces. Using the two products together will clean and restore the original colour of the teak without the need for heavy sanding or hard scrubbing.

Process 1:
Equipment required: Two buckets, green washing up scourers, small stiff bristled brush, rubber gloves and cloths.
The cleaning solution (Process 1) which cleans deep into the surface of the teak without harming the timber, should be diluted with fresh water in a ratio of 1 part cleaner to 10 parts water. To ensure the quality of the clean, this product is applied by hand.
Thoroughly wet an area of one square metre and apply the Process 1 cleaner using a green scourer/brush.
Clean by rubbing across the grain. You will see dirt coming out instantly, wash out the pad/brush occasionally and if needed add more cleaner. Keep up this process until no more dirt appears and thoroughly rinse.
Coverage: The amount of product used will depend upon the severity of the job. As a rule one litre of Aqua Marine Teak Care Kit – Process 1 will clean approx. 12-15sqm. Allow more cleaner than the area you have as more is used around railings and fittings etc.
Process 2:
Having completed the process with AquaMarine Teak Care System – Process 1, the neutralising solution (Process 2) is then applied with a soft cloth to finish. This completes the cleaning process and neutralises the cleaning solution.
The neutralising solution should also be diluted with clean water, in the ratio 1:10.
Wipe this over the still wet wood.
You will see the timber lighten and come back to the colour of fresh teak.
Continue to apply the area until it is a uniform colour.
Rinse the deck with fresh water and allow to thoroughly dry
